Finale (Act 7)
← 2-XN Bitter Times 7-X2 Miracle Defibrillator (Cole's Song)
Thank you, all of you.

Miracle Defibrillator is a level in Rhythm Doctor. It is the first of the two Finale levels.

This is the eighth boss level, and second to last level in the entire game. It's a mix of all the previous story mode levels in rapid succession. Its difficulty comes in multiple patients (up to 6) almost all the time, and its prolonged usage of multiple windows. It is unlocked after beating Bitter Times.

If Paige Left (6-X was not missed):
IanSpriteRelease.png Thanks for coming with. It'll only be a few minutes. I was given like a dozen more things to do anyway.
IanSpriteRelease.png How'd the rehad meeting go? Some progress, hopefully?
IanSpriteRelease.png Y'know...Edega is running out of patience with those two.
IanSpriteRelease.png He snapped at me when I said you were working on rehab with them.
IanSpriteRelease.png He said there's "more important things" you should be doing, now that you've moved up.
IanSpriteRelease.png He wants you on defibrillator testing. Then he rattled off some ideas for handling their addictions.
IanSpriteRelease.png One of them was some kind of numbing effect for the defibrillator. Like the pain reliever, but for dopamine receptors instead.
IanSpriteRelease.png That way, if they're numb to pleasure signals, they won't get anything out of coffee or smoking anymore.
IanSpriteRelease.png It's absolutely crazy. I mean...everything he tells me to do is!
IanSpriteRelease.png B-...But... no matter what he says, I don't know how to say "No!"
IanSpriteRelease.png You know how Edega is if you try to question him.
IanSpriteRelease.png I'm not trying to risk my job here.
IanSpriteRelease.png I can't afford months of job-searching, all while looking after my mom.
IanSpriteRelease.png And more importantly...I like working here!
IanSpriteRelease.png I-...I'm good at what I do! And so are you!
IanSpriteRelease.png Finding something I'm good at, and it actually helps people...
IanSpriteRelease.png ...isn't that as good as it gets?
IanSpriteRelease.png Anyway. Guess I should get back to work.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png There you are. What are you doing all the way up here?
IanSpriteRelease.png Ada???
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Thanks for covering all this time. I hope the patients didn't give you too much trouble.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Not to nitpick, but you made a bit of a mess in there. (I think I saw a robot?)
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Whatever, no time for that. It's handover! I'm taking my shift now.
IanSpriteRelease.png You came back...
IanSpriteRelease.png Are you sure you want to work at Middlesea? Of all places in the world?
IanSpriteRelease.png I thought you were done with medicine, you said you were flying to stay with your cousin out in-
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Hey! We can catch up on life decisions later. For now...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png What did I miss?
If Paige Stayed:
PaigeSpriteRelease.png At least we've got some fresh air up here. Are you feeling any better?
IanSpriteRelease.png Phew. I think so. Thank you.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Tensions were kind of running high with those two, Cole and Nicole, but... I think they'll be able to work it out.
IanSpriteRelease.png To be honest, I don't know how you do it, Ada.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Do what?
IanSpriteRelease.png You always find a way to calm people down. You always find a way to get them to listen, or cheer up. No matter who it is.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Ha, well... I don't know about that. I certainly try, though.
IanSpriteRelease.png Well, do you think you can try your magic out on Edega? He's been breathing down my neck lately.
IanSpriteRelease.png He keeps pulling me away from my work to make me work on all this "Miracle Defibrillator" stuff.
IanSpriteRelease.png He thinks it's going to revolutionize medicine. Rebuild people's cells from scratch, numb all their pain, take away their cravings... whatever they ask him to do!
IanSpriteRelease.png It's absolutely crazy. I mean... everything he tells me to work on is!
IanSpriteRelease.png He had me build security guard robots to patrol the halls because he thinks it'll keep patients safer! I don't get it!
IanSpriteRelease.png B-...But... no matter what he says, I don't know how to say "No!"
IanSpriteRelease.png You know how Edega is if you try to question him.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Yeah, I do...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png It feels like the only person who's had the guts to do anything about him lately is the intern.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png I agree though, Edega's gotten a bit out of hand.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png It's a shame, because I feel like we had a good thing going for a while.
IanSpriteRelease.png What do you mean?
PaigeSpriteRelease.png With us! As a team. You, me, and the intern.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png I was skeptical about rhythm treatment when you first told me about it. But I wanted to see what it could do.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png And when we first started... it wasn't going so bad!
PaigeSpriteRelease.png You and the intern could treat symptoms with rhythm, Edega and I could follow up with standard procedure.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Being understaffed was stressful, but I could see the potential.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png I felt like we were so close to figuring out our equilibrium, all of us working together.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png We could've hired more people to share the load, doctors versed in both types of treatments...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png ...but then Edega had to ruin it, stripping everything down to the bone. He's just stubborn like a bull, I suppose.
IanSpriteRelease.png E-Exactly!
IanSpriteRelease.png I wasn't sure if I was just going crazy, or if it was all my fault things kept falling apart, or if you thought I was trying to get the intern to replace you...
IanSpriteRelease.png I'm glad to hear you thought we were a good team, at least. I thought so too.
IanSpriteRelease.png So how do we get Edega to change directions? He's in such a rush to replace all of us, he won't even wait for the tech to be properly tested.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png There's got to be a way we can get him to listen. Or maybe we should ask Mark, he might know what to say.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png He's known him longer than we have, after all.
IanSpriteRelease.png A-Alright... let's give it a try!
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Hey, you still seem really out of breath. Are you sure you don't want to take a break?
IanSpriteRelease.png I can... push through! We shouldn't waste time while Mark's conditions is so bad! Let's... head back inside.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Alright, if you say so...
If Paige was fired:
IanSpriteRelease.png ...and after that, I finally had the intern check in on Cole and Nicole! They hadn't had any appointments since you left.
IanSpriteRelease.png But forget about that! There's so much other stuff piling up.
IanSpriteRelease.png Edega wants me to kick out all of the patients who won't consent to his testing. Plus all this other stuff he wants me to do.
IanSpriteRelease.png I've only gotten a few hours of sleep this week. Because of him.
IanSpriteRelease.png It's all because he keeps having work on the defibrillator so it can become some magic cure-all...
IanSpriteRelease.png ...but he doesn't care about beta-testing any of it for safety or effectiveness or side-effects or regulations or-
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Okay, okay...slow down. It'll be okay.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Just tell me where to go. I'm here and ready to help.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png I may not be much use when it comes to rhythm... but that's what we've got the intern for, right?
IanSpriteRelease.png R-right.
IanSpriteRelease.png Could you help me check on Mark? The intern and I have been so scrambled, we haven't had the time to treat him again.
If Paige wasn't fired:
PaigeSpriteRelease.png So, do you think the rhythm treatment will be enough for Mark? Or should we convince Edega to perform surgery?
IanSpriteRelease.png Depending on whether Mark's condition worsens, we might not have a choice! Surgery could take too long.
IanSpriteRelease.png I think let's focus on soothing his symptoms using rhythm treatment, then we can have a conversation about it.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Sounds like a plan.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png I may not be much use when it comes to rhythm... but that's what we've got the intern for, right?
IanSpriteRelease.png R-right.
IanSpriteRelease.png Hopefully Edega isn't planning to do anything rash.
IanSpriteRelease.png Honestly, it's only a matter of time before...
(An alarm can be heard, and the music changes)
EdegaSpriteS.png All staff, Code Blue.
EdegaSpriteS.png Code Blue, patient Booker, room B7.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Oh my god, Mark is unresponsive? Ian, let's go help the response team.
IanSpriteRelease.png Nobody works here anymore, we are the response team!
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Okay, let's run. Intern, meet us there. Take the elevator down to the bottom.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png No time to talk, Mark's heart has stopped beating, bye!
Novel One of Mark's favorite novels. He seemed to be re-reading it every time he was nervous about his treatment.
He must have dropped it while being transported to the operating room.
You can hear voices echoing down the hall.
EdegaSpriteS.png No pulse, no respirations.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Has he recieved shock?
EdegaSpriteS.png He's recieved one shock at two hundred joules.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Got it. I'll take over compressions.
Notebook Ian's Notebook. It covers months of progress with the rhythm program, including ideas for improvements and a journal of your growth as an intern.
EdegaSpriteS.png Incoming shock at three hundred joules. Stand clear.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png ...
EdegaSpriteS.png Shock delivered, resume CPR.
Yo-yo Ada's yo-yo. You've noticed her cheering up almost every patient by showing them tricks after her shift ends.
IanSpriteRelease.png Hey, I'll take over compressions.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Thank you. 1 milligram epinephrine?
EdegaSpriteS.png Yes. And next cycle, amiodarone.
EdegaSpriteS.png Keep compressions going. In a minute, I'll take over for you, Ian.
EdegaSpriteS.png Any response?
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Mark... Mark, can you hear us?
EdegaSpriteS.png Mark, are you with us? Can you hear me?
640px|class=pixelart Hey...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Patient's responsive. And we've got a pulse returning.
EdegaSpriteS.png Stabilised for now. Thank you, both of you.
EdegaSpriteS.png I'm so happy you're both here.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Of course, you can't run a Code Blue on your own. Next, we should make sure the patient-
EdegaSpriteS.png ...I'm happy that you're both here to see what happens next.
EdegaSpriteS.png Ian, did you bring the Miracle Defibrillator?
IanSpriteRelease.png T-Technically, yeah, I did...but...we can't use it today!
IanSpriteRelease.png We haven't run any clinical trials with it yet, we haven't seen how it reacts with the human body-
EdegaSpriteS.png Set up the Miracle Defibrillator and prepare Mr Booker for his treatment.
If at least one note was hit in the ending sequence of 6-X:
EdegaSpriteS.png Today's a big day. Of all days for you to return, Ada, this was perfect timing.
If all the notes in the ending sequence of 6-X were missed:
EdegaSpriteS.png Today's a big day. Your presence isn't required, Ada, but you're welcome to observe.
EdegaSpriteS.png He's safely stabilised for now, but his condition is still rapidly deteriorating.
EdegaSpriteS.png The new Miracle treatment will be the quickest way to save him. I'm sure even you can see that now.
EdegaSpriteS.png I'll be leading Ian and the intern through Mr Booker's operation today.
EdegaSpriteS.png Afterwards, the patient will be cleared to go home.
EdegaSpriteS.png In fact, every patient will be cleared.
EdegaSpriteS.png We'll have our proven cure for Connectifia abortus. And eventually, for everything else. Illness, disease, injuries.
EdegaSpriteS.png We've all worked together for so long, we've made so much progress.
EdegaSpriteS.png And today we have a patient who needs our help, who needs something only we can do.
EdegaSpriteS.png There isn't time to hesitate.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Ian just wants to make sure-
EdegaSpriteS.png Be quiet. If the three of you don't have the stomach to help this patient, then you can leave.
EdegaSpriteS.png I'll end the rhythm program, I'll cut the intern's signal...and I'll just find someone new to take their place.
EdegaSpriteS.png Someone more cooperative.
EdegaSpriteS.png With the Miracle Defibrillator, I can even operate on my own if I have to.
EdegaSpriteS.png So either do your job and help me operate, or go home.
IanSpriteRelease.png ...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png ...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Fine. Ian, set it up. The intern and I will keep an eye on Mark to make sure he's okay.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Hey, Mark...how are you feeling?
6-X Completed:
640px|class=pixelart Dr Paige? Didn't think I'd see you again.
6-X Missed:
640px|class=pixelart Dr Paige? I'm glad to see you, at least.
640px|class=pixelart I'm hanging in there. I understand that we're, uh...running out of options for me. My vitals are trending in a bad direction.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Well, the three of us are going to be treating you today, so let us worry about that.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png We're going to be trying something new. It's never really been, um...tested before. We'll need you to read some-
640px|class=pixelart I consent. To whatever you want to try. I consent to the "Miracle" treatment.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png A-Are you sure?
640px|class=pixelart Yes. Just do it. Please.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Okay. Well...if you feel any pain, let us know. If it's too much, we can stop.
IanSpriteRelease.png Alright, we're all hooked up. Now it's all you, intern.
IanSpriteRelease.png On the cue, hold the defibrillator. Keep it held. Don't stop until I say so.
If the cue is missed:
IanSpriteRelease.png Intern! You have to keep holding it down!
IanSpriteRelease.png I know you're afraid. We all are.
IanSpriteRelease.png B-But it's not like we have many options left...
EdegaSpriteS.png ...
IanSpriteRelease.png Keep holding that button down. His cells are still rebuilding-
PaigeSpriteRelease.png How's your pain?
640px|class=pixelart I can handle it. Keep going.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Hey, if it's too much, maybe we should-
640px|class=pixelart DON'T STOP, I CAN HANDLE IT, I CAN HANDLE-
640px|class=pixelart AAA A A A A A ##@@@@@A A A A::::(($$$$
IanSpriteRelease.png This isn't going to work! His body can't handle it, and the virus came back-
IanSpriteRelease.png Intern, are you still there? The virus is out of control.
IanSpriteRelease.png Edega and I will take care of Mark, go help everyone else!
IanSpriteRelease.png Th-the virus is warping patients around!
IanSpriteRelease.png Their heartbeats are all mixed together!
First Break:
ColeSpriteS2.png Oof... my head. Did we all feel that, or just me?
ColeSpriteS2.png Hey, intern! What's going on? Is Nicole okay?
ColeSpriteS2.png ...Nic! Pick up your phone...
ColeSpriteS2.png Nic, stay where you are, I'm coming for you!
HaileySpriteS.png Logan, what's happening? Where'd you go?
LoganSpriteS.png Hailey...! Where am I!?
Second Break:
IanSpriteRelease.png Intern! Are you holding up okay over there?
IanSpriteRelease.png The virus is jumping, and patients are phasing in and out around the hospital!
IanSpriteRelease.png Also... uhhh, it might have gotten me too. I guess I shouldn't have pulled that all-nighter...
IanSpriteRelease.png I was almost done building the...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Ian!
NicoleSpriteS3.png I hear everyone's heartbeats...
NicoleSpriteS3.png I can barely hear myself think. How can the intern focus?
ColeSpriteS2.png ...I have an idea!
Third Break:
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Ian...???
MinerSpritesheet.png I'm sure we'll find your birds somewhere, ma'am. Don't worry!
MrsStevensonSpriteS.png I hope so...
ColeSpriteS2.png Just a little more...
Ending:
640px|class=pixelart Hey! Are you still there? What's wrong?
PaigeSpriteRelease.png If even you can't keep up with all these patients intern... maybe we didn't stand a chance.
ColeSpriteS2.png ...and DONE!
ColeSpriteS2.png Intern, wait! I just finished my new track!
ColeSpriteS2.png I'm not sure if it will help, but let's crank up the volume...
ColeSpriteS2.png ...and press Play!
(Level then immediately transitions to Miracle Defibrillator (Cole's Song))
First Failure:
PaigeSpriteRelease.png I'm doing the best I can, but...we need you now more than ever.
PaigeSpriteRelease.png Please don't give up!

Second Failure:

640px|class=pixelart Starting to think the hospital was a mistake...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png We can handle it! I promise!

Third Failure:

LoganSpriteS.png I feel like I can hear everybody's heartbeats at once...
Samurai V1.png It's beautiful, right?

Fourth Failure:

LoganSpriteS.png I don't know how I can help or cheer you on, but...I know you can do it!
Samurai V1.png The intern won't fail. I just know it.

Fifth Failure Onwards:

PaigeSpriteRelease.png I don't know how you can focus with all these rhythms at once...
PaigeSpriteRelease.png ...but I'll just have to believe you can do it!
JanitorSmol.png You're a real trooper, you know that?
JanitorSmol.png No matter what this crazy place throws at you...you always find a way to make it all better!
JanitorSmol.png You're the best thing that's ever happened to this place.

 1. Rhythm Doctor OST - Miracle Defibrillator on 7th Beat Games' YouTube Channel, I totally wanted an Act 5 mashup section as well but the song was getting really long already, so i left it to focus on Cole’s Song instead.
