Miracle Defibrillator is a level in Rhythm Doctor. It is the first of the two Finale levels.

This is the eighth boss level, and second to last level in the entire game. It's a mix of all the previous story mode levels in rapid succession. Its difficulty comes in multiple patients (up to 6) almost all the time, and its prolonged usage of multiple windows. It is unlocked after beating Bitter Times.

	Thanks for coming with. It'll only be a few minutes. I was given like a dozen more things to do anyway.
	How'd the rehad meeting go? Some progress, hopefully?
	Y'know...Edega is running out of patience with those two.
	He snapped at me when I said you were working on rehab with them.
	He said there's "more important things" you should be doing, now that you've moved up.
	He wants you on defibrillator testing. Then he rattled off some ideas for handling their addictions.
	One of them was some kind of numbing effect for the defibrillator. Like the pain reliever, but for dopamine receptors instead.
	That way, if they're numb to pleasure signals, they won't get anything out of coffee or smoking anymore.
	It's absolutely crazy. I mean...everything he tells me to do is!
	B-...But... no matter what he says, I don't know how to say "No!"
	You know how Edega is if you try to question him.
	I'm not trying to risk my job here.
	I can't afford months of job-searching, all while looking after my mom.
	And more importantly...I like working here!
	I-...I'm good at what I do! And so are you!
	Finding something I'm good at, and it actually helps people...
	...isn't that as good as it gets?
	Anyway. Guess I should get back to work.

	Tensions were kind of running high with those two, Cole and Nicole, but... I think they'll be able to work it out.

	You always find a way to calm people down. You always find a way to get them to listen, or cheer up. No matter who it is.
	Ha, well... I don't know about that. I certainly try, though.
	Well, do you think you can try your magic out on Edega? He's been breathing down my neck lately.
	He keeps pulling me away from my work to make me work on all this "Miracle Defibrillator" stuff.
	He thinks it's going to revolutionize medicine. Rebuild people's cells from scratch, numb all their pain, take away their cravings... whatever they ask him to do!
	It's absolutely crazy. I mean... everything he tells me to work on is!
	He had me build security guard robots to patrol the halls because he thinks it'll keep patients safer! I don't get it!
	B-...But... no matter what he says, I don't know how to say "No!"
	You know how Edega is if you try to question him.
	Yeah, I do...
	It feels like the only person who's had the guts to do anything about him lately is the intern.
	I agree though, Edega's gotten a bit out of hand.
	It's a shame, because I feel like we had a good thing going for a while.

	I was skeptical about rhythm treatment when you first told me about it. But I wanted to see what it could do.
	And when we first started... it wasn't going so bad!
	You and the intern could treat symptoms with rhythm, Edega and I could follow up with standard procedure.
	Being understaffed was stressful, but I could see the potential.
	I felt like we were so close to figuring out our equilibrium, all of us working together.
	We could've hired more people to share the load, doctors versed in both types of treatments...
	...but then Edega had to ruin it, stripping everything down to the bone. He's just stubborn like a bull, I suppose.
	E-Exactly!
	I wasn't sure if I was just going crazy, or if it was all my fault things kept falling apart, or if you thought I was trying to get the intern to replace you...
	I'm glad to hear you thought we were a good team, at least. I thought so too.
	So how do we get Edega to change directions? He's in such a rush to replace all of us, he won't even wait for the tech to be properly tested.
	There's got to be a way we can get him to listen. Or maybe we should ask Mark, he might know what to say.
	He's known him longer than we have, after all.
	A-Alright... let's give it a try!
	Hey, you still seem really out of breath. Are you sure you don't want to take a break?
	I can... push through! We shouldn't waste time while Mark's conditions is so bad! Let's... head back inside.
	Alright, if you say so...

If Paige was fired:
	...and after that, I finally had the intern check in on Cole and Nicole! They hadn't had any appointments since you left.
	But forget about that! There's so much other stuff piling up.
	Edega wants me to kick out all of the patients who won't consent to his testing. Plus all this other stuff he wants me to do.
	I've only gotten a few hours of sleep this week. Because of him.
	It's all because he keeps having work on the defibrillator so it can become some magic cure-all...
	...but he doesn't care about beta-testing any of it for safety or effectiveness or side-effects or regulations or-
	Okay, okay...slow down. It'll be okay.
	Just tell me where to go. I'm here and ready to help.
	I may not be much use when it comes to rhythm... but that's what we've got the intern for, right?
	R-right.
	Could you help me check on Mark? The intern and I have been so scrambled, we haven't had the time to treat him again.
If Paige wasn't fired:
	So, do you think the rhythm treatment will be enough for Mark? Or should we convince Edega to perform surgery?
	Depending on whether Mark's condition worsens, we might not have a choice! Surgery could take too long.
	I think let's focus on soothing his symptoms using rhythm treatment, then we can have a conversation about it.
	Sounds like a plan.
	I may not be much use when it comes to rhythm... but that's what we've got the intern for, right?
	R-right.
	Hopefully Edega isn't planning to do anything rash.

Novel	One of Mark's favorite novels. He seemed to be re-reading it every time he was nervous about his treatment.
	He must have dropped it while being transported to the operating room.

Yo-yo	Ada's yo-yo. You've noticed her cheering up almost every patient by showing them tricks after her shift ends.
	Hey, I'll take over compressions.
	Thank you. 1 milligram epinephrine?
	Yes. And next cycle, amiodarone.
	Keep compressions going. In a minute, I'll take over for you, Ian.
	Any response?
	Mark... Mark, can you hear us?

	Mark, are you with us? Can you hear me?

	We haven't run any clinical trials with it yet, we haven't seen how it reacts with the human body-

	He's safely stabilised for now, but his condition is still rapidly deteriorating.
	The new Miracle treatment will be the quickest way to save him. I'm sure even you can see that now.
	I'll be leading Ian and the intern through Mr Booker's operation today.
	Afterwards, the patient will be cleared to go home.
	In fact, every patient will be cleared.
	We'll have our proven cure for Connectifia abortus. And eventually, for everything else. Illness, disease, injuries.
	We've all worked together for so long, we've made so much progress.
	And today we have a patient who needs our help, who needs something only we can do.
	There isn't time to hesitate.
	Ian just wants to make sure-
	Be quiet. If the three of you don't have the stomach to help this patient, then you can leave.
	I'll end the rhythm program, I'll cut the intern's signal...and I'll just find someone new to take their place.
	Someone more cooperative.
	With the Miracle Defibrillator, I can even operate on my own if I have to.

• The level's Perfect rank check stops once the scripted loss section begins, more specifically, when Nicole appears after Mark and Samurai.
  • This makes it the only level in which you don't have to complete the whole level with no misses to get the Perfect rank.
• This level has you treat all previous patients but one, this being Lucky. Fizzd confirmed this was due to the song being too long, and so he left it to work on Miracle Defibrilator (Cole's Song) instead.
