Hailey is a character appearing in Rhythm Doctor. She makes her first appearance in Intimate. She is the third treatable patient in the game, and along with Logan spearhead the Row Xs mechanic.

Appearance

Hailey has long blonde hair, and typically adorns her hair with a pink bow. She is usually seen wearing a pink dress with a dark magenta skirt (the level Something to Tell You establishes she owns at least six identical copies of this dress). Hailey appears to be a young teenager, and dialogue after the level Puff Piece indicates that she and Logan are in high school. As a treatable patient, Hailey is usually shown sitting in grass. She picks a flower when you successfully hit a beat, and is attacked by a carnivorous plant when a beat is missed.

Personality

Hailey is cheerful and talkative (described as a 'ray of sunshine' in the level Seventh-Inning Stretch) and while she mainly is seen spending time with Logan, she also is regularly seen interacting with new people and quickly befriending them. She regularly leaves her room in the hospital to explore elsewhere (and is sometimes seen hanging out in the hospital's garden room). While Janitor does note that Hailey can be loud and that she and Logan 'make a mess everywhere they go', Hailey generally respects the hospital's rules and only leaves the hospital with permission. One such departure from the hospital is when Hailey travels to Goldenrock to help her grandmother and visit distant relatives. This further shows Hailey's willingness to help people she cares about, considering how she is willing to make the trip despite currently being hospitalized for a heart condition (which actively worsens during her trip). Hailey seems to like baseball and horror movies. Although there is a cello in her hospital room (which is also decorated with musical notes), Hailey is not necessarily a musician, as suggested by her surprise about the 'musical' nature of Middlesea hospital in Intimate as well as her implying she doesn't play an instrument in Murmurs.

Relationships

• Logan is Hailey's friend from school who has also been admitted to Middlesea Hospital. The two regularly text each other, watch baseball together, and spend time with each other in the hospital garden; while they both have feelings for each other and are described as 'lovebirds' by the janitor, they do not officially start dating until Act 6.
• Cole and Hailey first interact on the train after Steinway, and Cole gives Hailey advice on how she can get Logan to talk to her about his feelings. In wish i could care less and Something to Tell You, she is seen listening to Cole's music.
• Miner meets Hailey on the train after the intern helps Miner with a difficult heart condition. He helps Hailey find her relatives once she reaches Goldenrock.
• Dr. Paige seems to have a positive relationship with Hailey, and in one version of the Act 6 ending, Hailey and Logan go to her office to tell her when they start dating.
