This is the Privacy Policy for Rhythm Doctor Wiki, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Contributions[edit]

1.1 Public Content. In general, all content (pages, images, files, etc.) is public. The history of every edit to content made is publicly displayed and retained indefinitely. Even if an article is "deleted," a website administrator or volunteer may still see what was removed from public view. There is no guarantee that permanent deletion will occur, except for content that violates laws or in response to a legal process.

1.2 Individual Contributions. If you contribute or edit content, your contributions will be visible to the public and may show up in search results of third-party search engines. If you have registered an account with Rhythm Doctor Wiki, your contributions will be associated with your username. If you have not registered with Rhythm Doctor Wiki, your contributions will be associated with your IP address.

What we store[edit]

2.1 Registration Information. As part of registration, we collect certain personal information, such as your email address, username and password. Your email address will remain private, unless you choose to post it on public facing portions of the Wiki, such as your profile page or the Contributors Page. Please use discretion on what you choose to post on public facing portions of the wiki, as it will be available to the public and may show up in search results of third-party engines.

2.2 Username. You will also be asked to create a username, which will be used to identify when you are logged into the wiki, and to identify your contributions. Again, your username will be visible to the public, and may show up in search results of third-party search engines.

2.3 Optional user information: As a registered user, you may choose to share more details publicly, such as your personal name, website, and personal pronouns. Again, this information will be visible to the public if you provide it, and may show up in search results of third-party search engines. You are not obligated to provide any of this information to use the wiki.

2.4 IP Address. Contributions made by unregistered users will be publicly identified by that user’s IP Address. This IP address will be stored as part of the page history.

2.5 Backups. We will store backups of the wiki from time to time, which may contain personal information of users. The backups are stored securely and privately.
