Hey! Sorry I'm late...
Where have you been? The patient's waiting.

He's here...
640px|class=pixelart
...why is he here?
[Interlude]
I'm so sorry, sir, it's just that I'm super behind on paperwork.
I wanted to jot down notes on Mr Stevenson's recovery...
...and send off some questions for Logan's pediatrician...
I got so exhausted that I...dozed off in my chair.
You...fell asleep?
Maybe I was wrong about you, Dr Paige.
I had always seen you as someone who would do anything for her hospital.
But I see now that you're just careless.
I'm really sorry, I must have been so exhausted my body just-
Again with the excuses.
[Ending (Only occurs on first playthrough)]
640px|class=pixelart
(Gabe really hasn't changed...)
640px|class=pixelart
(Maybe this was a mistake.)
Um, based on what Ian wrote, I think I know what sort of chronic condition Mark is suffering from.
There was a new study on this just recently, let me find-
Enough of this.
Stop wasting our time. Use the defibrillator to stabilise the patient.
Okay! I'll try!
...
I'm so sorry. Let me try again!
640px|class=pixelart
Don't let him get in your head.
Forget it. You, intern. You're up.
Show Ms Paige how it's done.
640px|class=pixelart
Don't worry about me. I'll be okay.
- Any hit:
Excellent work, intern.
Dr Paige, meet me in my office.
- All missed:
. . .
...
(Did you just...?)
If any of the notes in the ending sequence were hit:
the next day...
...
...oh. Hey. It's you.
I wasn't expecting you to follow me here.
...
Y'know, before I go, you should know...
...I'm not mad at you.
The day you joined Middlesea, I could tell you were going to be great.
You're constantly learning new things. When you make mistakes, you push through and get it right.
I knew I'd never be able to keep up with that.
Dr Edega made it clear that his goal for the hospital was a staff that could do rhythm treatment.
Personally...I could never get the hang of it.
And with you here...there isn't really a need for me.
It's not your fault. I knew it would happen sooner or later.
I know I probably look like a coward for quitting and running away.
But I couldn't stand to wait around and get fired.
Or worse...stay and become useless.
My flight is soon, so I've gotta run.
Thank you so much for all of your hard work, intern.
I know you're gonna help a lot of people.
It's funny, I can barely even remember why I went to med school anymore.
Was it even to help people? Or was it to make my parents proud of me?
Maybe it was just a way to feel useful.
Anyway, good luck at Middlesea.
Oh. And when you see Ian...can you tell him something for me?
Oh, right. You can't.
Nevermind.
If all of the notes in the ending sequence were missed:
Mark seems to be doing a little bit better than yesterday.
His test results are in.
Ian, can you cross-reference them with the patients who have had Connectifia abortus?
Maybe there's something we can learn about early warning signs.
Yeah, I'll give it a shot. I'll meet you in his room.
Sounds great, see ya.
...
Hey, intern...
I have a feeling I know what you did. Yesterday, I mean.
You fumbled those beats at the end. But there's no way that was an accident. Right?
After all those things I've seen you pull off... I mean, you're Edega's favorite for a reason.
Yesterday was... not my greatest day. I thought I was getting fired for sure.
But in that moment... you made me not look so bad.
I thought Edega was gonna blow up on me, but he hasn't said anything since.
So, if there's any chance that you did that for my sake...
Thank you.
I won't forget it, and I won't let it go to waste.
If any beats were hit during the ending sequence:
Is everything alright?
I just saw Dr Paige walk out. Her face was all red, and she looked...upset, I think.
She didn't even say anything to me. Nothing at all.
If one of you hurt her feelings, you'll be gettin' a swift kick to the shins from me, I can promise you that.
If there's any guardian angels living among us on Earth, that lady is one of them.
If any beats were hit during the ending sequence:
This is a placeholder.
Trivia
- Boss Fight is in 6/8 time.
- If all beats are missed during the ending sequence, an alternate story route will occur where Paige never leaves. This affects several cutscenes and the lyrics of Miracle Defibrillator (Cole's Song), as well as preventing the robots from appearing in the hospital.
- The ending sequence can only occur once per save file.
