After noticing a politician enter the hospital, Ian and Paige discuss if they should treat the politician or elderly patient first, with Ian concluding that the Politician gets the treatment due to his political power. The politician interrupts the tutorial and demands to be treated first, threatening the loss of their jobs if they don't treat him at his rally. The level starts with the Samurai and Logan being treated at the same time, before gradually building up into having all three patients treated at once. PaigeSpriteS.png So, we've got a senior citizen requiring care...
PaigeSpriteS.png ...but now, apparently, there's a politician in here who demands to be treated first.
PaigeSpriteS.png Hey Ian, this is like straight out of our textbooks.
PaigeSpriteS.png What framework do we use to decide who to treat first?
PaigeSpriteS.png Under a fair and egalitarian RHS, what do we do?
IanSpriteS.png ...uh...
PaigeSpriteS.png Ian! We studied this barely a year ago! A whole Medical Ethics course, remember?
IanSpriteS.png ...we did??
IanSpriteS.png Ohhh yeah, yeah, that ethics course.
IanSpriteS.png (I didn't know that applied to real life...)
IanSpriteS.png Okay okay, I remember now.
IanSpriteS.png QALY! Right? "Quality Adjusted Life Years."
PaigeSpriteS.png Yup, exactly. And how does it work?
IanSpriteS.png It's, like...a formula to calculate the value of people's lives.
IanSpriteS.png And the one who has the higher number wins, right?
IanSpriteS.png Hmm...so, between these two patients...
IanSpriteS.png Uh...does QALY include political power as a factor?
PaigeSpriteS.png No, Ian, it does not.
IanSpriteS.png Well, if we don't treat him, he'll slash our funding next year.
IanSpriteS.png Case closed! The politician wins! Sorry, gramps...
[Tutorial with Farmer begins, before Richard interrupts]
RichardHughSpriteS.png What's taking so long?!
RichardHughSpriteS.png A tutorial?
RichardHughSpriteS.png No tutorial, you treat me! Now!
RichardHughSpriteS.png Shoo, farmer boy!
[Farmer exits]
PaigeSpriteS.png No, Hugh, come back! You're great at tutorials!
If first beat is missed:
IanSpriteS.png That was fast...
RichardHughSpriteS.png Pay attention!
If first beat is hit:
RichardHughSpriteS.png "Hugh"...how dare he share my name.
IanSpriteS.png Great job, intern!
IanSpriteS.png Look! He's got two Xs on his ECG!
PaigeSpriteS.png Huh! Why's his heart skipping so much?
PaigeSpriteS.png Is he feeling overwhelmed lately?
RichardHughSpriteS.png What was that?! Me, overwhelmed?!
RichardHughSpriteS.png How dare you!
RichardHughSpriteS.png Ugh, you wasted too much of my time.
RichardHughSpriteS.png I've got an important speech to give...
RichardHughSpriteS.png ...that I'm 100% not nervous about...
RichardHughSpriteS.png ...and I need the best possible medical care!
RichardHughSpriteS.png If you fancy med grads want to still have your job tomorrow, you better come treat me at my rally.
PaigeSpriteS.png That seemed to work well enough. Good job.
PaigeSpriteS.png Oh no, he's back. Here we go.
RichardHughSpriteS.png What is the meaning of this?!
RichardHughSpriteS.png I step away for ONE SECOND, and you think you can get away with using some shabby long-distance treatment on me?
RichardHughSpriteS.png Ridiculous. Disrespectful. I came here for the highest-quality doctors. Personalized care! Whatever happened to that?
RichardHughSpriteS.png You! The disheveled-looking dropout behind the screen thingy. I demand to know who you are.
RichardHughSpriteS.png I'm reporting you to your superiors! What's your name?
RichardHughSpriteS.png AGHH! This is what I'm talking about! You think you can ignore me when I'm talking to you?
RichardHughSpriteS.png No manners, around here! Do you know who I am?! I'm Richard Hugh!
RichardHughSpriteS.png I'm the nation's bloody Health Secretary!
RichardHughSpriteS.png Trying to pass off my delicate operation to some intern in their basement. How dare you?
RichardHughSpriteS.png Just wait until I tell the cable networks.
PaigeSpriteS.png If I'm not mistaken, wasn't your party completely okay with this whole Rhythm Doctor initiative?
RichardHughSpriteS.png Hmph! Details, details! When I signed off on that, I didn't think that I would get stuck with one of these bargain-bin interns!
RichardHughSpriteS.png I can't stay here. This place is musty and smells like shellfish.
RichardHughSpriteS.png I can't wait to have a phone call with your supervisor. Good day!
PaigeSpriteS.png ...Well, that was something.
PaigeSpriteS.png Anyway, back to our jobs. There's an elderly gentleman who needs me. Mr. Stevenson.
PaigeSpriteS.png He keeps dozing off, so I haven't been able to speak with him yet.
PaigeSpriteS.png He's experiencing some heartblock, I'll take care of it and get his x-rays done.
PaigeSpriteS.png There's a new patient here too, I haven't met them.
PaigeSpriteS.png Can you handle it for me? Let's split up. Thanks!
JanitorSmol.png I just saw a dude in a suit bust in here and skip the whole line.
JanitorSmol.png Was that the Health Secretary?
JanitorSmol.png That guy's always yelling about medical workers on TV. Makin' us sound entitled.
JanitorSmol.png So I stopped paying for cable. I don't need to watch the news.
JanitorSmol.png If I wanted to get yelled at all day, I'd just come into work.
