Description[edit]

Subdivision beats, also known as Triangleshots, are a gimmick stemming from Squareshots. Like Squareshots, subdivision beats are non-looping Oneshots that can happen at any time. Unlike Squareshots, subdivision beats are several consecutive hits at a rhythm quicker than the established Squareshot rhythm (1-1-2-2 for two subdivision beats, 1-1-1-2-2-2 for three, etc.). Subdivision beats feature prominently in Act 5.

Levels[edit]

Cueing[edit]

Subdivision beats are cued like Squareshots, but instead of ending the cue with "One!" it is instead cued with the number of subdivision beats being used. It can also be cued during regular Oneshots as well, dropping the "Get Set" part, and instead opting to only use the cueing number for a subdivision beat.
