It's cued like a regular oneshot, with the Nurse cues being played earlier for it to line up on every beat instead of every offbeat. Additionally, a referee whistle cue plays at the same rate as the hits. They play "Short, Low, Short, Low" before the start of the oneshot, and "High" four times afterwards. If this blast beat is stopped with a new "Get, Set, Go!", there must be referee cues at the same time as the nurse cues in the order "High, High, Low." If stopped with "And stop!", this is not necessary.

The blast beat is cued similarly to a regular oneshot, except the Nurse cues begin 1.5 ticks earlier and include an additional "Rea-dy" before "Get, Set, Go!" This causes the "Dy" cues to align with every beat rather than every offbeat.

Additionally, referee whistle cues play alongside the rhythm of the hits. Before the oneshot begins, the whistles play "Short, Low, Short, Low," with the first "Low" occurring 0.5 ticks before the first Nurse cue. After the start, four "High" whistle cues are played.

If the blast beat transitions into another "Get, Set, Go!", the referee whistles accompanying the Nurse cues must follow the pattern "High, High, Low." This is not required if the blast beat ends with "And stop!"
