Burn Beats, or Burnshots, are the opposite of [[Freezeshots]]. The cue plays at the ''beginning'' (rather than the end) of the last oneshot, and that determines how early to hit. Like freezeshots, Burn Beats cannot be repeated one after the other, but can be played directly after freezeshots.

==Cueing== | |||
Burn beats are cued based on the pulse of the last cued oneshot and are timed to match the exact tick they will be hit on. For instance, when working with a 1-tick oneshot, regardless of how many additional pulses the shot contains, the Burn Beat cue will always start on the initial 1-tick pulse. This corresponds to the 'Get' of the 'Get-Set-Go' sequence used when cueing the oneshot.
