transcriptions and timestamps

hello :) i put up transcriptions for whatever i could, but i do have a few questions. all in good spirit! just wanna be accurate.

• what is the insomniac motif? im not totally certain myself, since to me it seems more like a variation on the oriental motif. if im missing something lmk
• the timestamps. im not sure what they point to most of the time? but they could be helpful. sort of what im asking is do we need them and if we do, do they need tidying up? would help clarify some motifs too
• lo-fi motif? this is to do with the timestamps to be honest, especially as in the bandcamp release, the intro to wish i could care less taken from lofi beats isnt there. ive taken it to be the solo part that gets riffed on in care less/beats to chill to but if consensus lies elsewhere do say
• also in the bandcamp release. lo-fi beats for patients to chill to is now lo-fi hip-hop beats to freeze patients to. not sure
• is the dreams dont stop quote at the end of 7x-2 enough to warrant a mention or is it too ehhh
• is the syncopated melody/rhythm in 6-1 and its tutorial enough to warrant a mention?

• i feel like insomniac motif is referring to the oriental motif variation, though, within 1-XN it receives its 7/8 variation and extension (especially in the piano part) i feel like thats more identifiably "Insomniac Motif", given its the one that appears in 7-X / 7-X2. for an image ill probably just put the 2 looping bars at the start of the 1-XN piano part / 7-X2 reprise, or just the 4 bars of the normal motif as it first appears in 1-X
• keep the in-game name for 5-2, since it links to the level page and not OST release
• 7-x2 definitely Includes 5-X. but like. as liberal as this page is with what it considers leitmotifs i cannot hear the leitmotif listed on the page in 7-x2. i could maybe make the argument that it uses a super brief variation of the motif at 4:02 - 4:04 (bandcamp OST release), but that seems too farfetched
• i dont actually think adosah (lol) shares any melodic motifs with 6-1? rhythmic...sure i guess. but also seems to farfetched to consider a leitmotif
• HOWEVER. 7-1 and BLURRED (cutscene) MOST DEFINITELY need a leitmotif section. they are the best songs ever.

• ive done up the start of the bwi piano part for insomniac, though i did actually do it as 4 bars of 7/8 rather than 2 or 7/4 or 7/8, as it is more 8 than 4, and semiquavers(+demisemiquavers) looked kinda messy since the beaming isnt as clear
• yeah the 5-x thing is defo pushing it a bit, its less a motif than just a reference
• no idea what i was on about with 6-1. i think i imagined it lmao
• with 7-1 and blurred cutscene though, they share mostly the full melody and i dont think(!!think) it appears anywhere else more fragmented? so strictly speaking what would the motif be in that case
• also im still kinda hung up on the inconsistent timestamps throughout the page. i do think theyre worth cleaning up and doing for more tracks, in reference to likely the bandcamp releases since its the most complete release i think? there are some differences between yt and bc(e.g. wish i could care less) so if these get neatened up itd be worth staying consistent
