Custom Shake

Custom Shake is an event in the VFX Tab that creates a screen shake effect for a set intensity and duration.

Usage

Properties

Setting	Type	Description
Shake Type	Dropdown	What type screen shake is used.
Duration	Text Box (Number)	How long the shaking effect lasts for.
Amplitude	Text Box (Number)	The distance the screen is able to move from the center of the window.
Frequency	Text Box (Number)	The speed at which the screen moves during the effect.
Fade out	Checkbox	The amplitude will gradually decrease until the end of the effect.
Use beats	Checkbox	Beats will be used instead of seconds for the duration.

Shake types

Setting	Description
Normal	The screen teleports very quickly to random positions away from the center based on the amplitude and then abruptly jumps back to the center of the window.
Smooth	Works similarly to normal shaking, except this one moves at the speed set by the frequency to the random positions.
Rotate	The screen rotates along the vertices of the screen's outline to create a kind of rocking effect.
Bass Drop	The screen zooms inward and outward and uses the distortion effect seen in the Bass Drop event.
