TWO YEARS RUNNING | |||
Cast your mind back on this track
THE 1800'S | |||
A local yokel is minding her business <small>(the business of barrunning)</small>
When a drunken interloper attempts to CHARGE
Thinking quickly... she grabs her trusty taser and lets it SHOCK.
'Zip-Zapping' your foes was common for quacks to practice but was ruled... "Not a very good idea" by the high courts.
The year is 1894. | |||
At the turn of the century, a gentlemanly Huxley J. Sidenote was playing his favourite childhood game...
'Beat the Rhythm and Notes - A Test of Wit & Flow, & a Series of Challenging Songs, With the Intent to Be Enjoyed'
(or, in our modern knowledge...)
BEATBLOCK | |||
During a particularly difficult ditty, Huxster felt his heart chirp, as a cardiac crash DREW NEAR.
With his dignity on the brink of flatlining, he slammed down on YE OLDE SPACE BUTTONE as hard as he could.
<span style="color:#ff0000">There were no survivors.</span>
Today, this incident is celebrated as the birth of the modern day RHYTHM DOCTOR PROGRAM.
Hit the button on the seventh beat, then repeat, or risk losing your well deserved, <span style="color:#ffff00">S+</span> ranking.

== Trivia == | |||
* Cranky's comments on the level rankings are almost identical to Samurai's ones in Samurai Techno.
* The lyrics are edited from the original song, changing them to be about the Rhythm Doctor Program, rather than Side Notes from Beatblock.
** Notably, Huxley J. Sidenote's name remains unchanged.
* This level is inspired by a custom level of the same song by azabi.
* This is the second level to have a name not in English, with the first being Corazones Viejos. Both levels' names are in Spanish.
** Adding to this, this is the only level with an accent in its title.
** público cautivo means "captive audience" in Spanish.
* público cautivo is the fourth level to be written completely in lowercase, behind wish i could care less, tape/stop/night and theme of really spooky bird.
