It is the second boss level in the game. It introduces [[Window Dance]].

== Synopsis ==
The player treats Cole and Nicole through their chest pains, as they remain in their separate rooms. Like the prior boss level, the Connectifia Abortus virus is present and actively interferes in the level. Through the level, Cole and Nicole sing about each other, making lyrical references toward their addictions and their desire to see each other. Motivated by a strong emotional realization that strikes them both, Cole abruptly leaves his room, running down the hall in a dash to go see Nicole. The level ends with him barging into the cafe, panting out of exhaustion, as she looks at him in surprise. He then lifts up his head, smiling.

After the level, Cole asks for extra time to stay with Nicole as she closes up shop, to which Paige readily obliges. He then remarks that the doctors shouldn't worry about him, claiming that he's found a way to make music without the use of caffeine, hinting that Nicole is his newfound inspiration. Ian then runs in, out of breath, telling the player and Paige that the virus had once again appeared, but that the player had already taken care of both patients before he could inform them. Paige then instructs the player to move back to the Main Ward, saying that they'll check up on Cole and Nicole another day.

* The final beat of this level is heart-shaped. This has no difference in gameplay and is simply meant to signify the strong emotions Cole is feeling toward Nicole.
* The janitor's dialogue mentions "that hoodie dude and coffee girl [were] singing at each other across the hall." Additionally, the fail dialogue mentions explicitly that Cole and Nicole are singing together. This confirms that the song for 2-X is, in-universe, being sung by the two of them.
* Technically, this is the first level to introduce the player treating more than one patient at the same time. However, Nicole and Cole's heartbeats are synced on the exact same beat, so there is no difference in terms of actual gameplay. As such, this level does not introduce juggling multiple rows of different heartbeats.
* The voice clip "Let's go!" used in the song is sampled from the easter egg at the end of [[One Shift More]].

It is the third boss level in the game. It is the first time that [[Paige]] is a treatable patient; it is also the first time that the player themself has to treat Mr. Stevenson.

== Synopsis ==

The player treats Paige, Mr. & Mrs. Stevenson, and Richard Hugh through their respective heart problems. Each patient has a singing role in the level. At the start of the level, Paige attempts to do a proper check-up of Mr. Stevenson. Her pager goes off right as she tries to resolve the miscommunication issue that has prevented Mr. Stevenson from talking to his wife, leaving the issue unresolved. This leads into both Stevensons singing about the waiting time they've had to endure in order to get help, remaining unable to see each other. Paige sings about being overworked and the miscommunication she's been having. Finally, Richard Hugh sings cynically about doctors, expressing his negative views on them, and his belief that they should receive pay cuts. Near the end of the level, Paige sings about the interpersonal struggles she has faced in pursuing her studies and in pursuing her career as a doctor, lamenting the missed opportunities to catch up with her friends, emphasizing that her patients have been "waiting for so long."

The level ends with Ian returning, an hour late to handover. Paige is initially upset until she hears Ian explain that his mother had an episode, and that he attempted to call the hospital to let Paige know of the delay, but that this news did not seem to reach Paige. Paige, taken aback, apologizes and expresses sympathy, as Ian expresses gratitude for her covering his shift. The two then discuss the circumstances around Mr. Stevenson's injury, as he looks at a framed photo of his wife, with a sad expression, still unable to communicate with her. After the level, Ian expresses gratitude toward the player and Paige, recommending that she take a break. Paige then thanks the intern, letting them know that she'll drop by the vending machine whenever they're ready.

== Synopsis ==

The player focuses on treating the Wren, [[Cockatiel]], and Canary characters, as well as the briefly appearing [[Parrot]] and [[Owl]]. Throughout the level, all five birds tweet at each other and exchange information about their lives, depicted through speech bubbles containing drawings, in a manner intended to replicate the visuals and gameplay of ''Bits & Bops's'' Meet & Tweet minigame.

The Wren speaks of how [[Hailey]] fed her a worm, and the Cockatiel replies by speaking of the ice cream that Mrs. Stevenson gave it. Then, the Wren replies by speaking of its experience in the woods, resting on a suit of armor as other birds gathered together to sing. The Cockatiel replies by speaking of its happy experience listening to [[Cole]] play guitar. Briefly, the Parrot joins in to speak of its experience flying through the hospital as the [[Janitor]] cleans up its stray feathers, unamused. The Cockatiel then speaks of its happy experience being drawn by [[Lucia]], to which the Wren replies by speaking of its experience being photographed by Hailey on a tree stump. Briefly, the Owl joins in to speak of its experience snatching away papers from a distressed [[Paige]]. The Cockatiel and Wren then speak of their shared experience, meeting someone who was confused when first seeing them; the Cockatiel met Cole in the hospital, and the Wren met a bear in the forest.
