== About the Game ==
''Rhythm Doctor'' is a 2D, pixel-art rhythm game, developed and published by [https://7thbe.at/ 7th Beat Games] and [https://indienova.com/en Indienova]. The game entered early access on Steam and Itch.io on February 26, 2021 for Windows and MacOS. The full release came to Steam on December 6, 2025, and to Xbox on December 29, 2025. It remains updated with new additions, bug fixes, and further development.

In ''Rhythm Doctor'', players have to accurately press their spacebar respective to a variety of different beat types and gimmicks layered over a music track within each unique level of the game. It also allows players to customize their own character sleeve with its built-in sleeve editor.

''Rhythm Doctor'' is 7th Beat Games' second major published game, and was originally a free Flash game inspired by Rhythm Heaven, made during college summer breaks from 2011 to 2012. The first online version was released at the end of 2012.

The game received overwhelmingly positive feedback on Steam during its early access release, and has ultimately been praised for its unique story and characters, gameplay mechanics, visuals, and soundtrack.

The game includes a [[Level Editor]], which is also available for [https://giacomopc.itch.io/rdle free download] without purchasing the game. It allows players to create their own levels, which they can upload to the Steam Workshop or to the non-official community [https://discord.gg/rhythmdr Discord server], for others to play. The game supports single-player mode, shared or split screen co-op, full controller support, as well as remote play.
