Synopsis
The level opens with Lucky expressing discontent over his continued state of injury, wondering how long the healing process will take. A montage then plays out, with Lucky being accompanied by the various hospital patients as time flashes by. His discontent grows into anger, leading into a conversation with the Miner where Lucky opens up about his past, worrying he will remain unaccomplished if he is unable to play baseball. The Samurai then asks Lucky if he can train him. Another montage plays out, showing Lucky training the Samurai on the field, then in a Beans Hopper cameo, as Logan and Hailey tag along to train with the Samurai. The Samurai then practices in the cafe, with Nicole pitching in to help, as Cole tags along in running with the cast. Lucky is then seeing coaching nearly all the hospital patients in the physiotherapy ward, giving a pep talk before their upcoming university game. The player then sees Ian warning Paige that the virus has returned, despite his efforts to keep it away. The view then cuts to Lucky, by himself, voicing his doubts out loud. The virus interferes as the view cuts to Lucky's dreams on the baseball field, heavily distorting the audio and visual cues. Afterwards, Lucky wakes up, in seemingly brighter spirits, as the view cuts to a representation of the hospital patients moving around on a heart-shaped baseball field, zooming in to focus on the Samurai using his bat to swing at baseballs. Lucky is then seen, in his typical baseball outfit, giving another pep talk to the hospital patients. His sprite gradually fades into his present-day self, with his arm cast and lack of baseball material, telling the patients that they will "live with no regrets" if they continue to push themselves. The lyrics fade in again during this moment, as the resolution of the level plays out. A dusty grain effect can be seen after another baseball field montage, displaying Lucky's past memories of him serving on the baseball field, of him standing on the hospital balcony, and of him engaging in exercises with the Miner. The level's final beat ends on the Samurai swinging at a baseball. After the level, Paige checks up on Lucky, to which he claims that he is feeling alright. Edega then speaks to Lucky about the aforementioned new rhythm treatment, now ready for use on patients, with the possibility of healing him permanently and in a fast manner. Lucky declines, stating that the friendly company of the hospital patients has made him want to stay at Middlesea Hospital, and that he has thoroughly enjoyed coaching them. Additionally, he cites the Miner's line about having "only one body," and that he does not want to risk permanently damaging it via risky treatment methods. Edega attempts to further pressure Lucky by claiming his contract is on the brink of being canceled and that he is disappointing his baseball fans. Lucky persists in declining the offer, claiming he has "found a better team." Ian then tells Paige that the cause of the virus has been the rhythm defibrillator itself all along. He claims he can fix it, but that he needs more time to do so. He says he'll need her and the intern to distract Edega in the meantime. Lucky then apologizes to the two doctors for his previous insults, before challenging the intern to an arm wrestle. The Miner, Nicole, and Hailey then compliment Lucky for his new friendly attitude, before Lucky tells them to shut up, out of embarrassment. Paige then tells the hospital patients to rest up, as Lucky chimes in to tell them that they'll be jogging laps around the block tomorrow. Paige then tells the intern that they have more work to do; the dialogue then transitions into the credits level, Helping Hands.
[Lucky] They keep saying that 'healing takes time.'
[Lucky] How long is this gonna take?
[Interlude]
Hey! Everything okay?
[Lucky] Eh.
C'mon, let's do our stretches.
[Lucky] Ugh...fine...
It'll never be a hundred percent. You have to make peace with that.
[Lucky] I know...It's just....
[Lucky] I was never much of anyone as a kid.
[Lucky] Bad grades, couldn't ever focus, mom and dad yellin' at me...
[Lucky] But on the field, everything was different.
[Lucky] Without baseball... I feel like I'll just be that useless kid again.
...
[Lucky] Sorry, I...
Can you teach me baseball?
[Lucky] wait what
let's play baseball
X
[Interlude]
[Lucky] Alright everyone! Tomorrow's the big day! The local university agreed to a game. It won't be easy.
H-Hey Ada, we've got a problem...
The <span style="color:#ff0000">virus</span> is back.
No matter what we do, it sticks around.
Then the intern will have to keep watch on the whole team. What choice do we have?
[Lucky] Can't sleep...why is my heart racing?
[Lucky] Do I really care whether they win this pointless match?
[Lucky] Or does 'coaching' just mean that I'm giving up on my dreams?
[Interlude]
[Lucky] Ninth inning, team!
[Lucky] I know how it feels. Like you're running on an empty tank. That it'd be easier to just let it be over.
[Lucky] But don't give in.
[Lucky] Y'know, when you all said you wanted me to coach you...
[Lucky] ...I thought you were joking. I didn't think you'd stand a chance in a real game, but here you are.
[Lucky] That's why I've learned never to listen to what coaches have to say. They're usually clueless.
[Lucky] So listen to me just this once, then never listen to me again!
[Lucky] If you push yourself further here...on a path you never thought you could run on...
[Lucky] ...I know you'll live with no regrets!
The shoulder doesn't hurt so much anymore.
Ah, there you are, Mr Jonronero.
If we perform the procedure today, you can be back in the pro league by tomorrow morning. No recovery period.
Wow. Wait, really? Tomorrow?

Of course. In time for the playoffs. Ready?
Actually...I think I'll pass.

Excuse me?
[Lucky]
I couldn't tell at first, but it looks like I've been making good progress on my own.
[Lucky]
Even if it's taking forever.
[Lucky]
When I got here, I was dying to get out, but...maybe this place ain't so bad.
[Lucky]
The people are...nice. And persistent.
[Lucky]
I thought they were screwing around when they said they wanted to play ball. But they really went through with it.
[Lucky]
And every point they scored...it felt just as good as scoring my own.
[Lucky]
Maybe even better.
[Lucky]
I've spent my whole career trying to make miracles happen on pure grit and determination.
[Lucky]
But after seeing how pumped they were winning just <span style="color:#00ffff">one little game</span>...maybe all that energy I built up is better spent somewhere else.

...
Interesting. The choice is your own, but, if I may...

From what I can tell, the status of your next contract with the Middlesea Scales seems to be hanging by a thread.

You're keeping your fans waiting. And your team. I can't imagine that reflects well on you.

I think I've figured it out. It's the rhythm defibrillation system itself that keeps causing the glitches.

Oh...

Yeah. Yikes, right? But there's good news! I think we can fix it.
Edega keeps dragging me away to work on his new "miracle cure" thing.

If you and the intern can keep him busy, and take care of all the patients...I can figure out how to get rid of the virus!

That's good!

Y-yeah! Although, maybe a little bit easier said than done.

Definitely...but the intern's been <span style="color:#00ffff">unstoppable</span> so far!

Together, we'll keep things running as smooth as-
[Lucky]
Oh hey, doc.
[Lucky]
Since I'm gonna be stuck here anyway, and I'm still feeling the post-victory glow...
You two aren't so bad. Maybe.
[Lucky]
I mean, you do spew a bunch of techno-jargon at me. And keep me cooped up in bed all the time.
[Lucky]
And, uh, make me eat yogurt and weird vegetable mush.
[Lucky]
But...at the end of the day...I know you're just trying to help.
[Lucky]
Sorry if I gave you a rough time. Or something.

Not at all! We're just here to do right by you, no matter what. Even on the days when being here isn't so fun.
[Lucky]
Well, from now on, I'll try not make your life a livin' hell, haha. I promise.
[Lucky]
And as for you, intern. Once I finish my recovery...
[Lucky]
...I'm challengin' you to an arm wrestle!
S-shut up!
To all my fans (To all the fans)
I tried my best but things are tough
I'm out of luck (You're out of luck)
My joints are torn, I can't hold on
Something wrong with me,
* This level now marks Lucia's first appearance within a main story level. Prior to the Act 5 update, Art Exercise was the first and only level Lucia could be seen in, as a patient or character. This makes it one of the few Early Access levels to retroactively change the first appearance of a previously established character.
* This is the first boss stage to have a tutorial.

Samurai is a recurring character in Rhythm Doctor, making his first appearance in Samurai Techno. He is the first treatable patient of the game, using solely Classic Beats at varying speeds that tend to fluctuate.

Appearance
As the name suggests, Samurai is a samurai who wears red armor with golden details, and wields a sword in his left hand. He is of small to average height and has tanned / bronze skin.

Personality
Samurai is not a talkative character. Although he does have dialogue, it is rare for him to speak, and whenever he does, it is usually in brief, short sentences. He is known to be a frequent goer of night clubs, with an appreciation for electronic music, taking a particular liking to Cole's drum and bass music as shown in Unreachable. Of his few instances of dialogue, he is seen complimenting Cole's music several times, and thanking the two doctors in Super Battleworn Insomniac, showing a glimpse of him being amicable and kind to others.

He is depicted as a skilled skater in The 90's Decision, with the Janitor stating "he's really good" at it. He is seen skating through the Roller Disco, participating in the chase for the donut, showing how the Samurai is prone to act in a silly manner.

Relationships
*Cole and Samurai share an appreciation for electronic music. He is first seen complimenting Cole's music after 1-XN, stating he had missed Cole's music when he was away from the hospital. He is once again seen complimenting it in 2-1N, saying a brief "Good" in response to it, during the rank screen. Lastly, he is seen in 2-2N, partying with Cole and "blaring music through the hospital" with him, as stated in the pager's post-clear text. Their continued presence together, and 2-2N's post-clear pager text, suggests that the two may be friends.
*Insomniac and Samurai have an unknown relationship. The two of them share oriental theming; their levels were formerly known as Oriental Insomniac and Oriental Techno respectively, and their levels prominently feature visual oriental themes. Furthermore, Insomniac's internal name is SamuraiBoss. However, the only evidence of any direct relationship between the two characters is that they are briefly paired together during X-0, seen in Samurai's room. Thus, the nature of their relationship remains mostly unknown.
*Marija, Buro, and Rin are not seen speaking much to the Samurai, but he is featured in the B-rank outcome for MD-3, where Buro gives the donut to him, much to Rin's surprise.
History
* The sprites for Samurai have been reworked for Rhythm Doctor's Early Access release on Steam, with his colors being notably changed.

Trivia
* Samurai is often associated with beans due to Beans Hopper.
* The game's icon features Samurai on a blue background.
* Originally SamuraiGirl was used as a second Samurai for 2 player levels, however this was later changed to Blue Samurai.
* Samurai's Pirate alt replaces him in Samurai Techno during Halloween.

It is the fifth and currently final boss level in the game. It is the first time that Window Dance is used to resize the window horizontally and vertically, in conjunction with previously established window movement. It also indirectly introduces Lucia. It also is the first level to utilise checkpoints, having one checkpoint during the first cutscene and a health refill on the last cutscene.

Synopsis
The level opens with Lucky expressing discontent over his continued state of injury, wondering how long the healing process will take. A montage then plays out, with Lucky being accompanied by the various hospital patients as time flashes by. His discontent grows into anger, prompting the Miner to ask Lucky if he's alright. Lucky then opens up about his past, claiming that baseball was the only activity through which he felt accomplished in, worrying that he will remain unsatisfied with himself if he stays out of baseball. The Samurai then asks Lucky if he can train him. Lucky initially responds with confusion, before another montage plays out, showing Lucky training the Samurai on the field, then in a Beans Hopper cameo, as Logan and Hailey tag along to train with the Samurai. The Samurai then practices in the cafe, with Nicole pitching in to help, as Cole tags along in running with the cast. Lucky is then seeing coaching nearly all the hospital patients in the physiotherapy ward, giving a pep talk before their upcoming university game, before the player sees Ian warning Paige that the virus has returned, despite his efforts to keep it away. Paige then claims that the intern has no choice but to keep watch over the entire hospital staff. The view then cuts to Lucky, by himself, voicing his doubts out loud. The virus interferes as the view cuts to Lucky's dreams on the baseball field, heavily distorting the audio and visual cues, as the window stretches horizontally and vertically in an attempt to throw off the player. Afterwards, Lucky wakes up, in seemingly brighter spirits, as the view cuts to a representation of the hospital patients moving around on a heart-shaped baseball field, zooming in to focus on the Samurai using his bat to swing at baseballs. Lucky is then seen, in his typical uniform, baseball cap and baseball bat, giving another pep talk to the hospital patients. The level's final beat ends on the Samurai swinging at a baseball, before ending. After the level, Paige checks up on Lucky, to which he claims that he is feeling alright. Edega then speaks to Lucky once more about the aforementioned new rhythm treatment, now ready for use on patients, with the possibility of healing him near instantly. Lucky declines, stating he has made progress on his own and that he does not want to risk further damage to his body, citing the Miner's previous line about only having "one body" to take care of. Lucky also claims he has enjoyed coaching the hospital patients just as much as he enjoyed being on the baseball field itself, and that the friendly company of the patients has made him want to stay at Middlesea Hospital. Edega attempts to further pressure Lucky by claiming his contract is on the brink of being canceled and that he is disappointing his baseball fans. Lucky persists, declining, claiming he has "found a better team." Ian then speaks to Paige, claiming that the cause of the virus has been the rhythm defibrillator itself all along. He claims he can fix it, but that he'll need her to distract Edega in the meantime. Ian questions if he and Paige are included in the jogs, to which Paige says that they likely are. The dialogue then transitions into the credits level, Helping Hands.
I tried my best but things are tough
Something wrong with me,
So I'll keep holding on
[Verse 2]
The air is still
But there's no peace inside this place
Fans lose their cool
My team moves on, I've been replaced
I'm fed up with waiting
My body is fading
I'm sick of your sympathy
From all my regrets of yesterday
* This level now marks Lucia's first appearance within a main story level. Prior to the Act 5 update, Art Exercise was the first and only level Lucia could be seen in, as a patient or character. This makes it one of the few Early Access levels to retroactively change the first appearance of a previously established character.
Rollerdisco Rumble (4-1N) is a level in Rhythm Doctor. It is the Night Shift version of Training Doctor's Train Ride Performance.

It introduces the concept of Holds catching other beats while they are being held. It is the first time the player has to juggle Oneshots and Holds at the same time.

The track was created by Vince Kaichan.

Synopsis
The player treats the Miner and Cole through their heart issues, with Cole playing his music in the train as the Miner listens. In the middle of the level, Richard Hugh briefly interrupts to have a single abrupt heartbeat treated, before the level resumes as normal. After the level, the Miner remarks that he likes the music despite not usually listening to songs of its type.
Hello from the hospital, again!

Hope you're having fun on your trip, my shift without Dr Paige is a nightmare.

Just a quick lesson, there's one thing to understand about these new held beats...

Held beats are powerful!

While you're holding a held beat, any beats from other patients nearby will be automatically caught!
It's handy, huh?
Now, let's try it with one of those SVT beats.

Try treating these two patients!
Keep going...
Alright!

History
*This level first appeared in the closed beta under the name Delay Pedal 2.
**It had Barista as the Oneshot row instead of Cole and Nicole, and Samurai as the main classic row, with the exception of the Intimate motif, which was Logan. <!--this could be worded better-->
**After the dialogue, the Oneshot pattern was cued with a simple "Get Set Go", since modern Oneshot cueing standards weren't in place yet.
**This proto-Squareshot pattern, after a few loops, would change again, adding a third oneshsot per bar. This third pattern was not adapted into the Steam version of the game though.

Trivia
* This is the first and only level to make use of Logan's alternate 'hit' sprite, where he looks to the left, raises his hand, and smiles with his eyes open. This animation has been present within the level editor prior to its first main game use.
* The C-rank title may be a reference to another one of 7th Beat Games games, A Dance of Fire and Ice.

The best part about the rhythm defibrillator is that it's designed to do one thing and do it well.

It regulates irregular heartbeats. That's it.

Your obsession with keeping this system elegant and streamlined is getting old.

Your "freeze beat" prototype passed the first test. This tech has so much more to offer.

I mean, sort of? But there is still a lot I need to do to help get the previous patients ready to go home.

Ada and I have been trying to finish their treatments. B-but you keep asking me to make all these new-

I'm not asking.

...

Looks like the intern is here. How nosy. Go ahead, show them what you came up with.

H-hey! I've got another rhythm treatment for muscle pain.

Sometimes, the freeze beats aren't enough on their own.

So...uh, I tried reversing all the plugs from the cooling console...

...and now it creates a blast of heat that shortens the next heartbeat!

I think it will be soothing. Like a hot spring in your veins! <span style="color:#c0c0c0">(Maybe.)</span>

I'll show you. You watch, I'll demo it.

Alright! Let's practice!

I don't really have a name for this treatment. We can call them, uhh... <span style="color:#ff0000">burn beats</span>?

Just like freeze beats, burn beats can change up their timing. Just listen to the cue and you'll be fine.

Now, let's try alternating between both treatments.

Ready?
::<small>If just one beat is missed:</small>:
::{|

Wow, perfect. You learn quickly! It...sort of freaks me out? Haha.
::<small>If half the beats are hit:</small>:
::{|

Good enough!

That baseball guy keeps bugging me to try another treatment on him.

This still isn't a magic fix for his shoulder, but maybe it'll keep the pain down.

Good luck!
[Lucky]
But everything just wears off after a few hours!
[Lucky]
Do any of these things actually work?
Patience, Mr Jonronero.

[Lucky]
I started my career as a pitcher. I was damn good at it.
[Lucky]
But in my heart...I knew I didn't want to be put into a box like that.
[Lucky]
I knew I had what it took to be a homerun hitter.
[Lucky]
Coach said no. I pushed back, trained hard, and proved him wrong.
[Lucky]
Once he gave me a chance at bat...I became a star. Until I finally pushed my body past its breaking point.
[Lucky]
I insisted on pitching the full game. At bat, I was driving in runs.
[Lucky]
Coach thinks I'm a show-off, and wanted me off the field. But at the bottom of the ninth, I knew we'd lose if we weren't perfect.
[Lucky]
My body was screaming at me to stop, but I pushed on. Just needed one homerun to end it.
[Lucky]
I nailed it. But a second later, I felt agonizing pain.
[Lucky]
I kept a smile on, for the crowd, long enough to round the bases. After that, I don't remember a thing.
[Lucky]
Anyway, sorry for rambling. Thanks for, uh...being such a good listener.
I was watching that game. The one where Lucky got hurt.

It was awful. Thankfully, they cut to commercial, so the camera didn't hang on him too long.

Back in the day, Lucky stuck to pitching. But he was one of those rare ones...a player who's a star on the mound AND at the plate.

He started hitting homers and took the Scales out of their rut.

Sadly...his shoulder gave out. I hear that's what happens after all the wear-and-tear of pitching.

I wish I could say something to cheer him up, but it doesn't look like he wants an old fan's pity.
[Verse 1]
[LUCKY]
Won the game, made my name, fifteen minutes worth of fame
Then it came, all the pain. Is it over? What a shame
Too tough, too rough on my rotator cuff
Low weights, rehab, I've had enough
Take me back to my dreams
Before the sun set on me
When the crowd went wild
Now when they call my name
All my pride has turned to shame
They can't see me in this state
One slip, too late, three strikes, for me
I've always been the one you could count on
So who will take my place
Now I'm gone

[Interlude]
[LOGAN]
Do you know? Did you hear?
His play was play of the year!

[HAILEY]
Was that him? On the news?

[LOGAN]
Video had a million views
They call him a show off

[HAILEY]
But they're not wearing his gloves

[LOGAN]
My hero would never

[BOTH]
Hesitate to take his shot

[Outro]
[LUCKY]
Close my eyes, count to ten,
Could you take me back to then...
Take me back to my dreams
before the best was in the past
When the crowd went wild
One slip, too late, three strikes, for me
I've always been the one you could count on
So who will know my face
Now I'm gone

::{|

Wow, perfect. You learn quickly! It...sort of freaks me out? Haha.
::<small>If half the beats are hit:</small>:
::{|

Good enough!

That baseball guy keeps bugging me to try another treatment on him.

This still isn't a magic fix for his shoulder, but maybe it'll keep the pain down.

::{|

Wow, perfect. You learn quickly! It...sort of freaks me out? Haha.
::<small>If half the beats are hit:</small>:
::{|

Good enough!

That baseball guy keeps bugging me to try another treatment on him.

This still isn't a magic fix for his shoulder, but maybe it'll keep the pain down.

Good luck!
Dreams Don't Stop (5-X) is a level in Rhythm Doctor.

Ian questions if he and Paige are included in the jogs, to which Paige says that they likely are. The dialogue then transitions into the credits level, Helping Hands.
X
[Interlude]
[Lucky] Alright everyone! Tommorrow's the big day! The local university agreed to a game. It won't be easy.
H-Hey Ada, we've got a problem...
The people are...nice. And persistent.
I thought they were screwing around when they said they wanted to play ball. But they really went through with it.
Oh...
To all my fans (To all the fans)
I tried my best but things are tough
I'm out of luck (You're out of luck)
My joints are torn, I can't hold on
Everybody believes there must be
Something wrong with me,
To stay this way
But my dreams don't stop,
So I'll keep holding on

[Verse 2]
The air is still
But there's no peace inside this place
Fans lose their cool
My team moves on, I've been replaced
I'm fed up with waiting
My body is fading
I'm sick of your sympathy

[Outro]
I'm stepping away
From all my regrets of yesterday
I'm more than my dreams
It's time to move on
To all my friends, I'm holding on
* This level now marks Lucia's first appearance within a main story level. Prior to the Act 5 update, Art Exercise was the first and only level Lucia could be seen in, as a patient or character. This makes it one of the few Early Access levels to retroactively change the first appearance of a previously established character.
Super Battleworn Insomniac, also known as Super Oriental Insomniac (1-XN) is a level in Rhythm Doctor. It is the Night Shift version of Battleworn Insomniac.

It is the fourth boss level in the game, though it is categorized as being part of Act 1 Night. It is the first time the player has to handle irregular 7/8th beats. It is unlocked after beating Know You.

Synopsis
After the player returns to the hospital, Ian greets them, along with Paige, as he explains the situation to Paige; hospital devices overheating, network instability, and electronic malfunctioning. Confused, Paige keeps inquiring, as Ian reveals that all patients' conditions seem to be as usual, except for the Insomniac, whose heart rate is "out of control." Paige then urges the player to treat the Insomniac and prevent the virus from taking over the building, emphasizing to "focus on the seventh beat, no matter what." The player treats the Insomniac through more intense glitches and disruptions caused by the Connectifia Abortus virus. Halfway through the level, the virus breaks off a chunk of his heart, causing his heartbeat to be changed to 7/8th time, with the player having to rapidly adjust to this irregular time for the rest of the level, as the glitches and disruptions rise to such an intensity that the player has to rely almost solely on their own internal rhythm, as both the visuals and music become wildly unhelpful and distracting. After the level, the power comes back on, as all the patients in the hospital gradually gather around Ian and Paige, every single one of them thanking the two doctors for their hard work and care. Paige responds happily and tells all of them that she'll be right with them after they return to their rooms. Paige then tells the intern that they are "officially part of our Middlesea Hospital staff now, as far as [she's] concerned," and thanks them for all they have done. She then suggests that they take the day off tomorrow.
History
* In the Act 5 update, this level's after-clear dialogue was changed. Previously, Paige instructed the intern to do a final check-up on all patients, before transitioning directly into Helping Hands. Since this level now leads into Act 5 instead, the dialogue has been changed, wherein Paige now tells the player to take the day off tomorrow.
* Prior to the Act 5 update, the game would display "act 1 night" as being complete when the player finished the level. The game now displays "act 4" as being complete.

Trivia
*Despite being labeled as the completion of Act 4, this level is still classified as 1-XN and no proper "4-X" exists. This makes it the only instance in which an Act ends with a level that does not technically belong with its number.
*This is the first boss level to have a Night Shift version. It is also the only boss level to have extra dialogue if the player perfects it.
*This and wish i could care less are the only Night Shift levels that are necessary for beating the main story.
*Upon the player's first entry into the level during a game session, the level's introduction will stutter, before entirely freezing and preventing all progression. The level only progresses once the player presses an input key, wherein the level will feature a fake-out effect before progressing past the intro and starting the gameplay. This is intended to replicate the same visual effects that occur when programs on a Windows operating system stop responding, wherein the program's visuals become tinted with a transparent layer of white, usually when a user has pressed a key while focused on said program. If the level has already been played in the same game session, this fake-out effect is entirely skipped.
Dreams Don't Stop (5-X) is a level in Rhythm Doctor.

It is the fifth and currently final boss level in the game. It is the first time that Window Dance is used to resize the window horizontally and vertically, in conjunction with previously established window movement. It also indirectly introduces Lucia.
Ian questions if he and Paige are included in the jogs, to which Paige says that they likely are. The dialogue then transitions into the credits level, Helping Hands.
No matter what we do, it sticks around.
Then the intern will have to keep watch on the whole team. What choice do we have?
[Lucky] Can't sleep...why is my heart racing?
[Lucky] Do I really care whether they win this pointless match?
[Lucky] Ninth inning, team!

They went up against a university and actually won!

Now, I'll be honest with ya, I was tempted to join the team myself.

I've got a real mean arm. I could see myself pitching.

But...well, I chickened out. I didn't wanna embarrass myself in front of Lucky.

I figured maybe my energy would be better spent somewhere else.
<poem style="background-color: #faf7ed; padding: 1em;">
[Verse 1]
To all my fans (To all the fans)
I tried my best but things are tough
I'm out of luck (You're out of luck)
My joints are torn, I can't hold on

Everybody believes there must be
Something wrong with me,
To stay this way
But my dreams don't stop,
So I'll keep holding on

[Verse 2]
The air is still
But there's no peace inside this place
Fans lose their cool
My team moves on, I've been replaced
I'm fed up with waiting
My body is fading
I'm sick of your sympathy

[Outro]
I'm stepping away
From all my regrets of yesterday
I'm more than my dreams
It's time to move on
To all my friends, I'm holding on
* This level now marks Lucia's first appearance within a main story level. Prior to the Act 5 update, Art Exercise was the first and only level Lucia could be seen in, as a patient or character. This makes it one of the few Early Access levels to retroactively change the first appearance of a previously established character.
Thanks for, uh...being such a good listener.

...

</tabber>
Lyrics
<poem style="background-color: #faf7ed; padding: 1em;">
Won the game, made my name, fifteen minutes worth of fame
Then it came, all the pain. Is it over? What a shame
Too tough, too rough on my rotator cuff
Low weights, rehab, I've had enough
Take me back to my dreams
Before the sun set on me
When the crowd went wild
Now when they call my name
All my pride has turned to shame
They can't see me in this state
One slip, too late, three strikes, for me
I've always been the one you could count on
So who will take my place
Now I'm gone

[Interlude]
Logan: Do you know? Did you hear?
L: His play was play of the year!
Hailey: Was that him? On the news?
L: Video had a million views
L: They call him a show off
H: But they're not wearing his gloves
L: My hero would never
L + H: hesitate to take his shot

Close my eyes, count to ten,
Could you take me back to then...
Take me back to my dreams
before the best was in the past
When the crowd went wild
One slip, too late, three strikes, for me
I've always been the one you could count on
So who will know my face
Now I'm gone
